My name is Slobodanka Poštić and I am an aromatherapy educator in Croatia. I spent many years co-creating and managing educational programs for aromatherapists as well as teaching and writing books on aromatherapy.
First book Aromatherapy, Enchantment of Essential Oils (in Croatian) published in 1994, sparked the interest for aromatherapy in Croatia. It was followed with two more A for Aromatherapy, 2005, 2009, and Fragrant Calendar, 2008, that were translated to the Slovenian language and have had a significant impact in the Balkans region.
Natural perfumery is my biggest passion, and since 2005 I have been teaching the creation of natural perfumes. As an educator, I enjoy witnessing the curiosity, enthusiasm, and creativity of my students, as well as the impact that the process of creating and wearing natural perfumes has on their well-being.
In 2022. Fragrant Signatures – Manual for Creating Natural Perfumes was published (in Croatian & English). Here you have a bunch of information about the manual.
In 2022, I joined the work of the Airmid Institute as their ambassador for Croatia.
