“Secret Life” of the Mountain Savory

Thanks to the kindness of Tatjana Puljak PhD in Biology and Chemistry that gave me permission to show these footage, we can peek into the “secret life” of the mountain savory Satureja montana.The photographs are the part of the graduate thesis that the author worked on at the Faculty of Science in Split, Croatia. They were photographed with a camera on the a light microscope, and represent cross-sections of stem, root and leaf of the plant with an emphasis on the glandular structure.
